Hi Friends!
It’s been a while and so much has been going on. I’ve missed sharing with you all regularly and look forward to more of that soon.
On that note, I’ve been brainstorming a few ideas for new content on the blog and I’m happy to announce just a couple of things that are currently in the works including: The Proverbs Project (more about that below), Coffee with Karen (5 minute vlogs), and periodic guest writers!
I’m looking forward to the great things the rest of 2018 holds for us all!
xx KC
In a book club meeting last year while chatting about my sister’s latest Toastmasters assignment, she mentioned that she always wishes someone would ask her, “What advice would you give to your younger self?” (in retrospect). I think we all think about this from time to time–the coulda, shoulda, woulda’s of life. What we would do differently then is almost always based on knowing better now. For me, what I would tell my younger self has less to do with regret and much more to do with wisdom. For example, if I was a little wiser with my finances, I could have avoided some unnecessary debt. If I was a little wiser about time management, I could have been proficient in that instrument I always wanted to play or that language I wanted to learn, etc.
“The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.”
